Let’s get crazy for a celebration of one of the world’s greatest inventions – the bicycle! Dress to impress in your most colorful costume or wackiest outfit. Travel in style for an exhilarating 25-mile organized bike ride along the River Mountains Loop Trail or cruise with the kids on a 6-mile family fun ride. Afterwards, pedal to the park for a fitness festival and compete in bike and safety demonstrations, inflatable obstacle course, and cycling and fitness information booths. You may also sign up for the bike rides at active.com. Explore over 180 miles of trails by bike or foot with Bike It or Hike It. Snap a selfie in front of any trail signage including trailheads, kiosks, and interpretive signs. The grand prize is a hybrid bicycle valued up to $400.

Henderson is honoring its patriotic roots and Wild West past at the Heritage Parade & Festival. Cowboy up and ride into Henderson for a day filled with western and mining activities, boot scootin’ entertainment, line dancing, barbecue food, and a classic car show. Take a stroll down memory lane with an exciting parade dedicated to the good ol’ days at 10 a.m.
