The Nevada State Railroad Museum, Boulder City brings back one of its most popular events, a special third annual excursion ride of “The Great Train Robbery of the Nevada Southern Railway” on Saturday, April 16, 2011. Trains depart at 10:00 am, 11:30 am, 1:00 pm and 2:30 pm.
Members of the Southwest Legends Gunfighters, costumed in Wild West attire, will “hold up” the trains of the Nevada Southern Railway on this special excursion. The heist will be complete with mock gunfire and general merriment.
Tickets are available for purchase in advance by calling 702-486-5006, or the day of the event at the Nevada State Railroad Museum, Boulder City. Fares are $10 for adults, $5 for children ages four through 11 and free for children under four.
This event is being held in conjunction with the Railroad Pass Casino in Boulder City and the Gold Strike Casino in Jean.

The Nevada State Railroad Museum in Boulder City is one of seven museums managed by the State Division of Museums and History, an agency of the Nevada Department of Cultural Affairs.
