The Pyramid Lake Paiute Tribe would like to invite the public and their families to come “Get Hooked For Free” at Free Fishing Day at Pyramid Lake.
To kick off the upcoming summer season, fishing throughout all of the public areas of Pyramid Lake will be FREE to the public on Saturday May 14, 2011. The public is invited to come out and fish the waters of Pyramid Lake without having to buy a Tribal Fishing permit on this day. Free Fishing Day at Pyramid Lake is designed to educate the public about the fish and the unique ecosystem of the lake. The Tribe would like to remind the public that even though Tribal Fishing Permits will not be required for this day, that all other permits and Tribal regulations will be in effect. These permits are included to but are not limited to day use and overnight camping permits.
The Tribe wants to provide an opportunity for the public to enjoy the world class fisheries at Pyramid Lake and remind everyone that fishing is a great way to relax and connect with family and friends and enjoy the natural beauty of Pyramid Lake.
