Following a successful run of shows at The Venetian inside its acclaimed Venetian Showroom, David Spade is set to return for another series of engagements throughout 2011. The comedian and actor will take sarcasm and dry wit to a new level with his 75-minute standup routine on real-life situations that only he can spin into comedy.

"I'm looking forward to another run of shows at The Venetian; it's becoming my second home, only the payments are higher," joked Spade. "Vegas always has good crowds and it's a good fit for my ‘hilarious' jokes."

"We're thrilled that David has extended his engagement as a Headliner at The Venetian" said Christopher Yancey, executive director of entertainment for The Venetian and Palazzo. "David Spade is a wonderful addition to the line-up of world-class entertainment we offer at The Venetian, from Broadway shows to comedy and spectacular nightlife."

Spade has received multiple accolades for his roles as a stand-up comedian and actor in both television and movies, including Emmy and Golden Globe Award nominations. Spade first found fame in the early '90s as a regular cast member and writer for "Saturday Night Live" and continued his success starring in movies such as "Joe Dirt," "Lost and Found," "Black Sheep" and "Tommy Boy." His success on the small screen continued with the hit television show "Just Shoot Me," hosting Comedy Central's "The Showbiz Show" and most recently starring in the CBS sitcom "Rules of Engagement." This June, Spade will once again be featured on the big screen in Sony's "Grown Ups," starring Spade, Adam Sandler, Chris Rock and Kevin James.

Ticket prices will be $49, $69 and $89 plus tax and handling fees. A limited number of VIP Packages, which include front row seats and the opportunity to meet Spade after the show, will be available for $149 per person plus tax and handling fees. Performance dates are subject to change.
